Former President Donald Trump is likely to make his first public appearance later this February.
Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Communications Director Ian Walter on Feb. 20 confirmed to The Epoch Times that 45th US President Donald Trump will be the keynote speaker at CPAC 2021 in Orlando. , Florida.
Walters said the former president’s speech was scheduled to be delivered on the afternoon of February 28 (US time), the last day of the conference.
If he speaks at the upcoming CPAC 2021, it will be the first time that Mr. Trump has appeared in public since he left the White House on January 20.
After leaving Washington D.C, the 45th US President returned to live in the Mar-a-Lago resort complex, Palm Beach, Florida. Mr. Trump kept a number of close aides and officially established the former US president’s office, with the Save America PAC in Mar-a-Lago.
Due to being “gagged” by Big Tech, banned from participating in familiar social networking platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Mr. Trump often issued an official statement via Save America PAC. Former President Donald Trump went on to insist he won the 2020 election. He said “bad things, lies that happened” must be investigated.
“We actually won that election, as far as I know. What happened was disgraceful, utter disgrace, ”Mr. Trump said.
Mr Trump still plans to advance an investigation into the 2020 US presidential election anomalies.
“When they say, ‘The End of Stealing’, they’re not just joking,” Trump said. “It is a disgrace. It is like the election of a third world country.
“So we have to clear that up and I think I’ll have to find out the source of what happened,” Trump stressed.
On the possibility of running for the US presidency in 2024, Mr. Trump said: “I won’t say it, but we have enormous support. I am seeing an increase in the number of supporters [from the survey figures].
“The number of supporters is very good; the number is very high. I think the number of people who support me now is higher than before the [2020] election, ”Mr. Trump said.
When asked about the possibility of returning to Twittter, Mr. Trump said: “I understand Twittter, it has become very boring and millions of people are leaving [this social network]. They left it because it was not [like before], and I can understand it ”.
Trump is also open about the possibility of building a new social platform of his own to support the views of some 75 million voters who voted for the former president in the 2020 general election.
