The congressmen wrote in the letter: “Facebook’s moderation decisions did not happen by accident and there are indications that Facebook may have made content moderation decisions related to COVID-19 in accordance with the law. dictated by certain policies and positions of the [Biden] government”.
The group of congressmen questioned in the letter: “The federal government appears to have been significantly involved with Facebook in the matter of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Congressmen allege that the federal government may have violated the First Amendment by colluding with Big Tech to enforce content moderation decisions.
