The couple in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg, South Africa, was extremely surprised when they watched act bravely of the house dog save fellow from drowning in the family pool.
The family security camera captures the wonderful moment of Jessie, a 7-year-old Staffordshire Terrier, brave 7-year-old rushes into the backyard pool to save Chucky.
Couple Byron and Melissa Thanarayen said they returned home from the trip to find Chucky, the family’s 13-year-old dog, wet all over.
Byron and Melissa Thanarayen went to check security cameras to find out what happened when Chucky accidentally fell into the family pool in the yard after walking around.
Chucky struggles to find a way in the water and is lucky when the dog Jessie finds out then tries to rescue.
Jessie is a breed of dog bred from a terrier and a Bun breed, native to England. This is also considered one of the dangerous breeds. The short muzzle is famous for being “close to humans” for two centuries and is America’s most ferocious pet.
However, the common tendency of this species is to become loyal pets and brave guards, willing to devote themselves to protecting property for their owners.
The couple said they adopted Jessie from the Rustenburg Animal Cruel Prevention Association (SPCA). Jessie finally uses her mouth so she can lift Chucky out of the water. To ensure the safety of the family pets, the couple will quickly install a cover around the pool.
Netizens were all excited by the brave action of the dog Jessie. Many people believe that the dog has defied the danger to save his friend’s life, because if he accidentally falls, the golden dog can be dragged along with the dog Chucky.
